RESOLUTION RELATING TO THE RESOLUTION No. 24- N -1 -CC
CREATION OF A NEW FUND TITLED
"CLOSURE/POST-CLOSURE RESERVE"
#402.000.
WHEREAS, it has been called to the attention of the Board of County Commissioners
that a new fund #402.000 titled "Landfill Closure/Post-Closure" should be created; and
WHEREAS, the creation of said fund and transfer of monies into this fund may be
accomplished without a public hearing pursuant to state and county budget laws; and
WHEREAS, this newly created fund is to be established as required by and restricted for
use by WAC 173-350-600; and
WHEREAS, upon creation of the fund, Grant County Public Works will transfer the
appropriate cash balance to this fund and then continue funding moving forward
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF GRANT COUNTY, STATE OF WASHINGTON that
this fund is hereby created and established as listed above and the Grant County Auditor and the
Grant County Treasurer are hereby directed to establish this fund in their respective offices. The
Grant County Treasurer is directed to invest all funds relating to this newly established fund for
the benefit of the fund.
