In collaboration with Suzi Fode, Director of New Hope, I am formally requesting that the name of fund 128.170 be changed from
Domestic Violence Services to New Hope and that the Treasurer retain any accrued investment interest pertaining to the fund within the fund.
This request is made with the intention of optimizing the fund's financial sustainability and ensuring its continued capacity to fulfill its mission
effectively.

RESOLUTION RELATING TO THE RESOLUTION No. 24-- ��Z. -CC
AMENDMENT OF FUND #128.170
TITLED "DOMESTIC VIOLENCE
SERVICES"
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 98 -188 -CC dated November 30, 1998 was adopted to create
a new fund titled "Domestic Violence Services" Fund #128, Dept #170; and
WHEREAS, it has been called to the attention of the Board of County Commissioners
that this fund should be renamed to "New Hope"; and
WHEREAS, it is also being requested to invest all funds relating to this established fund,
for the benefit of the fund; and
WHEREAS, these amendments may be accomplished without a public hearing pursuant
to state and county budget laws.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF GRANT COUNTY, STATE OF WASHINGTON that
this fund is hereby renamed to "New Hope" as listed above and the Grant County Auditor and
the Grant County Treasurer are hereby directed to amend this fund in their respective offices.
The Grant County Treasurer is directed to invest all funds relating to this fund for the benefit of
the fund.

RESOLUTION NO. 98 -'188 -CC
A RESOLUTION relating to the establishment of a new fund/department
to be named Do=S:Lic VialpUce -Services Fund #128, Dept. #170 a
WHEREASP it has been called to the attention of the Board of
Grant County Commissioners that a new fund/department should be
established as set forth hereinabove; and
WHEREAS, the establishment of said fund/department may be
accomplished without a public hearing pursuant to state and county
budget laws; I
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMIS-
SIONERS OF GRANT COUNTY, STATE OF WASHINGTON, that the following
fund/department is hereby created and established:
Domestic Violence Services Fund #128,Dept.#170
and the Grant County Auditor an Grant County Treasurer are Fie—r—e-5y
directed to establish said fund/department in their respective
offices.
This resolution is in the best interests of good government
and shall take effect immediately.
