RESOLUTION: NOTICE OF HEARING RESOLUTION No. 24 - D 0-f -cc
IN THE MATTER OF BASELINE ROAD WIDENING PROJECT REET 2 SUPPLEMENTAL FUNDING
CONSIDERATION.
WHEREAS the Board of County Commissioners desires to conduct a public hearing on its intention
to consider REET 2 funds to complete Baseline Road Widening currently under construction. and
WHEREAS Public Works received $600,000 dollars from the Local Tax Advisory Committee to fund the
project and
WHEREAS the bid for the Baseline Road Widening Project exceeded the funding available. The project
bid was a total of $ 696,696.00. and
WHEREAS Public Works is respectfully requesting a budget extension request from Fund 132 — REET 2
in the amount of $150,000 to cover all costs.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that a public hearing be held in the Hearing Room of the Board
of County Commissioners at the Grant County Courthouse, Ephrata, Washington at 3:15 PM on Tuesday,
April 9th, 2024, and anyone either for or against these proposed actions may appear and be heard.
