HomeMy WebLinkAboutMinutes - BOCCCOMMISSIONERS' PROCEEDINGS Week of April 8,1991 The Grant County Commissioners session was called to order at 9:00 a.m. by Chairman Goodwin. Commissioner Winzler was in attendance with the Clerk of the Board. Commissioner Fancher was out of town. The Commissioners approved the minutes of the preceding session as written. The Commissioners approved the starting salary of Marilyn Sage of the Assessors Office at $1153.60 effective April 1,1991. The Commissioners approved the request by the Sheriff Department to extend the probationary period of Connie Wyatt to October 1,1991. The Commissioners approved the request for transfer of funds in the amount of $2,500 by Fund 402, Department 176 DD Residential Chairman Goodwin was authorized to sign the Notice of Separation or Work Interruption of Bonnie Miller of the Juvenile Department effective April 12,1991. Chairman Goodwin was authorized to sign the Special Occasion Liquor License of Moses Lake Lodge #1930 BPO for April 18 through April 21,1991. The Commissioners approved the salary increase of Greg A. Grammer of the Juvenile Department to 90% of the salary for Assistant Administrator. The Commissioners approved the salary of Scott Ponozzo of the Sheriff Department at 90% of control or $1350.00 effective April 1,1991. The Commissioners notified the Auditors Office that they had approved the part time Deputy Coroner position at the salary of $1,000 per month. The Commissioners responded reapportionment, informing them that the information. to the Republican Party regarding County Auditor would be sending further The Commissioners received the resignation of Junene Bohnet of the Communications Department effective April 30,1991. The Commissioners set a Public Meeting regarding the proposed zone change requested by Dennis Grimmer for April 23,1991 at 3:00 p.m. The Commissioners set a Public Hearing April 23,1991 at 3:30 p.m. regarding a requested zone change and mobile home park development submitted by Mick Santa near Crescent Bar. The Commissioners approved the warrants list for March #43393 through 43765. The Commissioners received information from Environmental Security Corporation regarding the CPN process. A motion was made by Commissioner Winzler and seconded by Commissioner Goodwin that Resolution Number 91 -40 -CC setting a public hearing on April 30,1991 at 1:30 p.m. for a proposed appropriation and expenditure of funds for the D.D.Residential Program 402-176 in the amount of $5,847 be passed. The motion carried. A motion was made by Commissioner Winzler and seconded by Commissioner Goodwin that Resolution Number 91 -41 -CC relating to the establishment in the District Court Department of an Employee Position to be named District Court Deputy III be passed. The motion carried. The Commissioners received a signed copy of Resolution No. 91-19 which is a Five County resolution regarding the appointment of a trustee of the North Central Regional Library. As there was no further business the session was continued until April 9,1991. April 9,1991 The session was continued at 8:00 a.m. with Chairman Goodwin and Commissioner Winzler in attendance with the Clerk of the Board. Commissioner Fancher was out of town. The Commissioners met with the Public Works Director regarding recycling, litter project, bike path section, Planning, and Employee Recommendation. The Commissioners signed the Public Works Claims Fund Voucher Approval #3-1 through #3-195 in the total amount of $560,654.68. The Commissioners signed the contract with Tommer Construction on the Silica Road Project. The Commissioners approved the salary of Robert Lutskas of the Sheriff Department at 80% of control salary for a Step Level I Deputy Sheriff effective April 1,1991. The Commissioners approved the request of Jay Johns for the purchase of miscellaneous tools in the amount of $1,876.44. The Commissioners approved the request by the County Clerk to purchase two new Swintec Typewriters. As of this date the Board by a majority vote does approve for payment those vouchers included in the list filed in the Auditors Office 4/8/91 in the total amount of $171,390.16.
