Re: Relinquishing Funds awarded of SIP #2019-07- City of George —
Frontage Road Infrastructure Improvements
The City of George has notified us that they wish to relinquish the funds awarded
to them for SIP #2019-07. Further, they have asked for confirmation that this
project is no longer an active SIP project on the books of Grant County. As no
funds were used by the City of George for this project, the total awarded amount
of $80,000 will- be removed from the committed fund balance and available for use
in the future.
The City's e-mail indicating their intentions to give back the funds is attached for
your review.

Hello Amy,
Since I have not received a response to this e-mail, a Project Certification with reimbursement request or a request to
extend the deadline, SIP Project 2019-07 for Frontage Road Infrastructure Improvements will be closed. The unused
funds of $80,000 will be returned to the SIP project fund for use by other applicants. Let me know if you have any
questions.

We have not received a request to extend the deadline of this project or a request for reimbursement. Was it the
intention of the City to not use these funds as the SIP grant/loan has now expired? Please let me know if this is correct
