IN THE MATTER OF SETTING
A POLICY FOR VARIOUS FEES
AND CHARGES FOR SERVICES
AND PRODUCTS PROVIDED BY
THE PUBLIC WORKS DEPART-
MENT AND REPEALING
RESOLUTION NO. 82 -15 -CC
RESOLUTION NO. 90 -162 -CC
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 82 -15 -CC sets various fees and
charges for services and products provided by the Public Works
Department, and
WHEREAS, the fees and charges set by said Resolution are
no longer applicable, and
WHEREAS, the Budgeting, Accounting, and Reporting Manual
published by the State Auditor's Office provides for pricing
products based on actual cost plus an administrative Overhead, and
WHEREAS, this method of periodically adjusting fees and
charges based.upon the actual cost is more responsive to changing
conditions.
NOW, THEREFORE IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Board of
County Commissioners of Grant County Washington that Resolution No.
82 -15 -CC be repealed in its entirety and the following policy be
established for use by the Public Works Department in pricing
various charges for services and products provided by the
Department:
1. Charges For Products Sold (Maps, Prints, Signs, Crushed
Gravel, Screened Sand and Gravel, Cold Mix, Fuel, and
Etc.) - Projected or average actual cost to purchase or
manufacture product plus an administrative overhead of up
to ten (10) percent. For charges in excess of $5.00
round to nearest whole dollar. For charges less than
$5.00 round to nearest ten (10) cents.
2. Road Bond Amounts - Estimated actual cost to perform the
work plus ten (10) percent for administrative overhead.
Actual cost to include the estimated purchase price of
all materials.
3. Cost -Share Contributions - Projected actual cost of the
liquid asphalt and cover rock used to convert a gravel
road to a liquid asphalt paved roadway.
