RESOLUTION NUMBER 90 -139 -CC
A IiESOLUTION relating, to the facts requiring an appropriation
and expenditure of funds for the following department/fund:
CurrPn - FxnnnsP Election Budclet ;rfo01,108
together with a budget therefor; declaring an emergency; and
setting a public hearing date; all pursuant -to RCW 36.40.140.
WHEREAS, it has been brought to the attention of the Board
of County Commissioners of Grant County that; an appropriation
and expenditure of funds should be authorized for the above-
mentioned department/fund, together with a. budget therefor, in
the estimated amount of $ 18,000.00 ; and
WHEREAS, expenditure of such funds was riot included in the
current budget of Grant County, however, emergent conditions
no", require that such funds be expended; and
WHEREAS, it appears that an emergency exists and that the
expenditure of such funds could not; have been reasonably foreseen
at the time of making said county budget;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COM-
MISSIONERS 01' GRANT COUNTY, STATE OF WASHINGTON, that the afore-
mentioned facts constitute an emergency and that an appropriation
and expenditure of funds should be authorized for the following
department/fund: Current Expense Election Budget #001.108
together with a budget therefor.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that not=ice of a public hearing upon
such expenditure shall be given, said hearing; to be held on
December 18,1990 in the Grant County Commissioners' Office,
Grant County Courthouse, Ephrata, Washington, at the hour of
1.30 p.m.
