RESOLUTION REGARDING THE
SOLDIERS AND SAILORS RELIEF RESOLUTION NO.90-106-CC
FUND
WHEREAS, it is the policy of Grant County to make available to
indigent veterans who have been residents of the State of
Washington and Grant County for at least one year, and their
dependents, certain short term, emergency assistance for food,
shelter, utilities and other necessities of life; and
WHEREAS, it has become necessary to set a limit on the
assistance each veteran may receive so that the funds might be used
for the needs of more veterans,
NOW THEREFORE IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, that no veteran or
veteran's family may receive more than $250.00 in any calendar
year.
