GRANT COUNTY, WASHINGTON
RESOLUTION NUMBER 90 -97 -CC
A RESOLUTION relating to the facts requiring an appropriation
and expenditure of funds for the following department/fund:
TOURISM FUND #114 DEPARTMENT 4156 ,
together with a budget therefor; declaring an emergency; and
setting a public: hearing date; all pursuant to RCW 36.40.140.
WHEREAS, it has been brought to the attention of the Board
of County Commissioners of Grant County that an appropriation
and expenditure of funds should be authorized :for the above-
mentioned department/fund, together with a budget therefor, in
the estimated amount of $ 15.000 ; and
WHEREAS, expenditure of such :funds was riot included in the
current budget of Grant County, however, emergent conditions
now require that such funds be expended; and
WHEREAS, it appears that an emergency exists and that the
expenditure of such funds could not h-,.Lve been reasonably :foreseen
at the time of making said county budget;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COM-
MISSIONERS OF GRANT COUNTY, STATE OF WASHINGTON, that; the afore-
mentioned :facts constitute an emergency and that: an appropriation
and expenditure of funds should be authorized for the following
department/fund: TOTIRTSM FUND #114. DEPARTMENT #156 ,
together with a budget therefor.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that notice of a public hearing upon
such expenditure shall be given, said hearing to be held on
October 16,1990 in the Grant County Commissioners' Office,
Grant County Courthouse, Ephrata, Washington, at the hour. of
1:30 D.M.
