GRANT COUNTY, WASHINGTON
RESOLUTION TO HONOR PROSECUTOR
PAUL KLASEN FOR HIS MANY YEARS
OF SERVICE TO GRANT COUNTY
RESOLUTION NUMBER 90-28 -CC
WHEREAS, Grant County has been fortunate enough to have the services of
Paul Klasen as their Prosecuting Attorney for the past 36 years, and
WHEREAS, Paul has been a dedicated servant of the people for more than
38 years in the Prosecutors Office, and
WHEREAS, he has given much more than was required in the fulfillment of
his responsibilities in that office, and
WHEREAS, he has served in many activities beyond the scope of Prosecuting
Attorney by developing and training a staff capable of handling the extremely
heavy load of cases that the present trend in lawlessness has made necessary,
and
WHEREAS, he has made himself available to other County Officials in dealing
with the complex issues and problems of their offices, and
WHEREAS, there are many people in Grant County who wish to thank Paul
Klasen for all his years of dedicated service,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED, that the Grant County Board of
Commissioners extend the sincere and heartfelt thanks of the people of our
County to Paul Klasen, and place his name on the list of distinguished people
who have contributed much to make our County the great place it is.
