RESOLUTION NO. 90 -35 -CC
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of
Grant County, Washington, were petitioned to vacate certain
portions of unused County roads described as follows:
SEE ATTACHMENT 'A'
WHEREAS, legal notice was published in the
legal paper and was posted on each end of the property to be
vacated or as near as possible; and,
WHEREAS, the County Road Engineer did give his
report in favor of this vacation; and,
WHEREAS, the road rights-of-way to be vacated
is of no benefit to the County or to the people of Grant
County;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, the vacation as
presented be granted and removed from the County Road System.

ATTACHMENT "A"
Those portions of Section 6, Township 18 North, Range 24 East,
W.M., Grant County, Washington, more particularly described as
follows:
PARCEL A:
Beginning at the center of said Section 6; thence along the
West line of Farm Unit 32, Irrigation Block 77, South
00002100" East, 487.40 feet to the Southwest corner of said
Farm Unit and the True Point of Beginning; thence continuing
South 00002100" East, 287.68 feet to the Northeast corner of
Farm Unit 106, Irrigation Block 77; thence along the Corporate
City limits of the Town of George, Washington, North 44000100"
East, 2160.44 feet to the turnback line described as GM422, as
per turnback agreement between the Washington State Department
of Transportation and Grant County; thence along said turnback
line North 46°34110" West, 199.97 feet to the North right of
way line of the South Frontage Road; thence along the North
right of way line, South 44000100" West, 1951.63 feet to the
True Point of Beginning.
Except ... 50.00 feet either side of the following described
center line: Beginning at the center of said Section 6;
thence South 00002100" East, 631.23 feet to the centerline of
South Frontage Road and the True Point of Beginning; thence
North 44000100" East a distance of 2056.03 feet to the said
turnback line mentioned above.
Except. ..Beginning at the intersection of the centerline of
South -Frontage Road and said turnback line; thence along said
turnback line South 46°34110" East 50.00 feet to the True
Point of Beginning; thence continuing along said turnback line
50.00 feet to the City of George, Washington corporate limits;
thence along said corporate city limits 50.00 feet; thence
North 4603411811 West 50.00 feet; thence parallel to the
centerline of South Frontage Road Northeasterly to the True
Point of Beginning.

Beginning at the Northeast corner of said Section 6; thence

657.90 feet to the East line of Farm Unit 32, Irrigation Block
77, said point also being on the centerline of the U.S.B.R.

Beginning; thence following said right of way of the West
canal on a curve to the left having a radius of 627.50 feet,

right of way of the U.S.B.R. West canal and the True Point of

Beginning for the purpose of this exception; thence along the

feet to the turnback line mentioned above.
Reserving from both Parcel A & B an easement
and maintenance of any public utilities which
located on the right of way being vacated.
