GRANT COUNTY, WASHINGTON
RESOLUTION NUMBER 90-53 -CC
A RESOLUTION relating to the establishment of a change fund for the
County Fair Department, to be called: Fair Change Fund.
WHEREAS, it has been called to the attention of the Board of County
Commissioners that a change fund should be established as set forth
hereinbelow; and
WHEREAS, the establishment of said fund is in accordance with
state and county laws and does not require a public budget hearing;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS,
as follows:
1. That a change fund to be known as Fair Change Fund, is hereby
established in the amount of $100.00 for the County Fair Department.
2. That the head of said county department shall be custodian
of said fund, shall record all transactions according to proper
accounting procedures, and shall use it only for the purpose of
making change.
3. That all expenditures from said fund are to be supported with
appropriate receipts and reimbursement of said fund shall be by claim
voucher and warrant.

Please accept this letter as our request to establish a "CHANGE
FUND" for the Grant County Fairgrounds. This fund would be used
strictly for the purpose of making change - not for expenditures.
This fund is necessary so as to enable us -to take cash for fair
tickets, camping fees, various rentals, etc. We would like to have
a minimum -of $100.00, with the option to increase this amount up
