this application. If we do not receive this notice back within 20 days, we will assume you have no
objection to the issuance of the license. If you need additional time to respond, you must submit a
written request for an extension of up to 20 days, with the reason(s) you need more time. If you

Dear Board Members,
We, as the Grant County Board of County Commissioners, disapprove of a liquor license being
issued in response to this application.
The address listed in this application is situated in a Residential (Rural Residential 1 — RR.1)
zoning district. Drinking establishments, like the "Tavern — Beer" being applied for, are
prohibited in the RR.l zoning district pursuant to Grant County Code 23.04 - Table 4. Grant
County Building and Planning Department has confirmed that no such buildings have been
approved by the Building and Planning Department and would be rejected if applied for. If any
such structure does exist at this point it is in violation of the county code, and even if this permit
is approved by the WLCB, engaging in the activity at that address would be in violation of the
county code and would be subject to code enforcement_
