Vasquez, Clerk of the Board Dean Hallatt, GCSO Larry Ledeboer, GCSO Shane Starnes, GCSO Dustin Canfield, Chief Deputy Kevin McCrae, Civil Deputy Prosecuting Attorney Kate Mathews, Civil Deputy Prosecuting Attorney Public: See. sign in sheet 10:10 a.m. The Commissioners held an Open Record Public Hearing to consider an Ordinance amending Ch. 9.07 of the Grant County Code titled "Dangerous Dog and Potentially Dangerous Dog". No one from the Sheriff s Office spoke of the changes so Commissioner Carter relayed that the ordinance amendment will reduce the fines associated with Dangerous Dogs as follows: • First Offense - $500 • Second Offense $1000 • Third and subsequent Offense - $2000 This reduction is to allow the state mandated 105% tax that is added to each fine listed above, through District Court. A motion was made by Commissioner Stevens, seconded by Commissioner Carter to close the public comment portion of the hearing. The motion passed unanimously. Commissioner Carter moved to approve the ordinance as presented. Commissioner Stevens seconded and the motion passed unanimously. The hearing adjourned.
