ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER
11.32 OF THE GRANT COUNTY CODE
TITLED "NO PARKING AREA" TO
ADD TWO CUL-DE-SACS LOCATED
WEST OF STATE ROUTE 17 AND
NORTH OF THE CITY OF MOSES
LAKE

WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Grant County Washington has
received a Public Works request to amend that portion of the Grant County code to prohibit
overnight parking on two cul-de-sacs located between West of State Route 17 and north of the
City of Moses Lake.
NOW THEREFORE, BE RESOLVED that Grant County Code Section 11.32.010 is hereby
amended as follows:
11.32.010 - Definitions
For the purpose of this chapter, the following words and phrases used herein shall have the
designated meaning unless a different meaning is expressly provided:
"No parking area" means the following unincorporated areas within Grant County in which
standing, parking and stopping of a vehicle on any portion of the roadway or Grant County
right-of-way is prohibited, except as provided herein:
(1) Airway Drive, Grant County Road Log Number 41690, Milepost 2.0 beginning at Hillcrest
Drive and thence in a southeasterly direction for one-half mile, along Airway Drive, to
Milepost 1.5;
(2) Crescent Bar Road, Grant County Road Log Number 31790, Milepost 2.3 5 through
Milepost 2.60 inclusive, from the Orchards Housing Area to -the Crescent Bar Bridge.;
(3) Silica Road, Grant County Road Log Number 30990, Milepost 5.08 through Milepost 6.07
inclusive, from Baseline West Road to 1 NW Road.;
(4) Rd. 1 NW, Grant County Road Log Number 30990, Milepost 6.07 through Milepost 6.57
inclusive, from Silica Road eastward one-half mile;
(5) Crescent Bar Road, beginning at the ninety degree turn located south of Crescent Bar
bridge and thence in a westerly direction along Crescent Bar Road a distance of seven hundred
and forty feet to the Columbia River (Wanapum Pool) and there terminating;

(6) Rd. L -NE, Grant County Road Log Number 40050, Milepost 0.30 through Milepost 0.50;
(7) Boundary Ave., Mattawa, Grant County Road Log Number 10700, Milepost 0.175 through
Milepost .398, from Saddle Mountain St. to Tennis Courts, Mile length .223;
,(8)Between the hours of 10 PM and 6 AM., those roadwa s and cul-de-sacs known as
Grandview North and Grandview South. Grandview North being west of SR 17, b.eini`jiw4
across SR 17 from Randol-oh Road and terminatina in cul-de-sacs north and south of the

centerline of the road. Grandview South,.b.e,ing a short road and two cul-de-sacs /4of a mile
south of Grandview North located between SR 17 and Moses Lake.
"Vehicle" includes every device capable of being moved upon a public highway and in, upon,
or by which any persons or property is or may be transported or drawn upon a public highway,
including bicycles.
All other words and phrases used herein will have their commonly accepted meanings.
Effective Date: This ordinance shall be effective upon signature by the Board. of County
Commissioners.
