Vasquez, Clerk of the Board Tom Jones, Sheriff Josh Sainsbury, Chief Deputy Public: See sign in sheet 3:35 p.m. The Commissioners held an Open Record Public Hearing to consider an Ordinance amending Grant County Code Ch. 9.06 titled "Dangerous Dog" and Ch. 9.07 titled "Potentially Dangerous Dog" to remove licensing requirements. Josh Sainsbury, Chief Deputy, described the request saying it costs more to process the licenses vs. how much is being charged. They do not issue very many. A motion was made by Commissioner Carter, seconded by Commissioner Jones, to close the public comment portion of the hearing. The motion passed unanimously. A motion was made by Commissioner Carter, seconded by Commissioner Jones to approve amendment to the Grant County Code as presented. The motion passed unanimously.
