CONSENT
By this letter I am requesting permission for emergency out of State travel expenses for
Dan Dale. 'The Prosecutor's of needed a witness from, California for the -trial of
State v. Jadi . n Ramirez, 20-1-00.348-13. The witness, Andrea Reynalisvital . to the case,
and was being uncooperative. The State issued a Material Witness Warrant. for Ms.
Reyna and with the help of the Fresno County DA's of -flee and the local police
department, they were able .to locate and apprehend, the witness. an. Dale and lead
officer for the case-, St . Bn*'an Jones, flew down to Fresno, CA to pick up Ms. Reyna
and bring her back to Grant County to testify.,
The travel expenses, which willinci 2 uae airfarel, car rental, hotel accommodation .:and
meals, will be paid ftom t * he Prosecutor's budget. Due to the urgency ofthe situation

and having to fly Dan.. and Brian out immediately, the Prosecutor s office paid for Brian
Jones' airfare, which Moses Lake Police Department will reimburse the county, see
attached letter.,
