The Fairgrounds Director asked Central Services to pay a retainage bill for Stans Construction & Sons for
$59388.58.
The "Barn 48" project was on the approved 2022 capital budget and finished later in the year. The retainage
was not held over in the 2023 budget year. The current Fairgrounds budget cannot absorb this cost.

Central Services "Fairgrounds Improvement Funds" have the funding to pay this bill. After checking with
Katie Smith, she stated that if the BOCC approves it, we could do this instead of a budget extension.
Central Services is asking the Board to approve the payment to Stans Construction & Sons of $5,388.58 from
Central Services "Fairgrounds Improvement Funds" and close out this project.
