I am requesting to remove code 9.06.070 — Kennel license required from the Grant
County Code. Over the past ten to 12 years our office has not had any direct requests,
or applications for a kennel license in the county. Because of limited resources, we
would not have the manpower to inspect and or remedy the amount of kennels with
the county boundaries. It is the opinion of this office that if there is a violation of a
kennel,, we can address them through the normal animal control procedures.
