The last few years saw a protracted negotiation take place between the County and Gray and
Osborne regarding the payment for services rendered. Gray and Osborne expected payment of
$40,000.00 whereas I did not believe those services were provided.
As settlement was reached and approved with the help of the prosecutor's office in the amount of
$10,000. A budget extension will be required to pay for this settlement.
The settlement and work described was a public work at the fairgrounds (sewer project) and was
originally paid through the 309 bond fund. This is a formal request to use BEET funds to pay this
settlement and conclude our business with Gray and Osborne.
