GRANT COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
MONDAY, JULY 8, 2019
The Grant County Commissioners session began at 9:00 a.m. with Commissioners Carter and Stevens in
attendance. Commissioner Taylor was out and excused.
9:00 a.m. — 9:20 a.m. ASC Update and Misc BOCC Action (Items 1 through 6)
A motion was made by Commissioner Stevens, seconded by Commissioner Carter., to approve items 1., 3,.
5 and 6 on the agenda as presented. Items 2 and 4 were not ready for signature. The motion passed
with 2 Commissioners in attendance.
1. Possible vouchers for insurance., legal services, grant administration, etc. (Approved)
2. Anticipating: Lease Agreement between Grant Integrated Services and Grant County Public
Hospital District No. 5 (Mattawa Community Medical Clinic), for building at 210 Government
Road in Mattawa, Washington. (item not ready for signature)
3. Insurance Renewal Quotation for Crum & Forster Storage Tank Pollution Liability Coverage in
the amount of $4,,718.04 for insurance coverage on Grant County aboveground and
underground storage tanks. (Approved)
4. Anticipating: Agreement for the provision of Law Enforcement Services between Desert Aire
Home Owners Association and Grant County Sheriffs Office. Term of the agreement is July 1,
2019 and ending June 30., 2021. (item not ready for signature)
5. Washington State Department of Social & Health Services (DSHS) County Program Agreement.,
Community -Based Domestic Violence Program Emergency Shelter & Supportive Services, DSHS
Agreement No. 1963-59401 in the amount of $516,,039.00. Term of the agreement is July 1,
2019 through June 30, 2020. (Approved)
6. Reimbursement Request #24 on Washington State Department of Commerce on Consolidated
Homeless Grant (CHG) No. 17-46108-10, administered through Grant County Housing Authority,
in the amount of $301315.75. (Approved)

The Commissioners approved and signed the Public Works County Payroll Salary Fund for their July 5.,

bid opening date of August 6,,2019 at 1:30 pm. (Approved)

Only I bid was received HLT Construction $527,903.40
A motion was made by Commissioner Stevens, seconded by Commissioner Carter to turn the
bids over to Public Works for their review and recommendation. The motion passed with 2
Commissioners in attendance.

A motion was made by Commissioner Stevens, seconded by Commissioner Carter, to approve items 1

5. Request for a budget extension in the amount of $10,000.00 (REET Funds) for Gray and Osborne

Contractor for the Rodeo Arena Bleacher project. Retainage was not carried over from the
