10:02 a.m. The Commissioners held an Open Record Public Hearing to consider a fee increase
for their Concealed Pistol License fee from $48.00 to $50.00. This is due to the Federal Bureau
of Investigations (FBI) and Washington State Patrol increasing their fees.
Dustin Canfield, Chief Deputy discussed the request.
A motion was made by Commissioner Stevens, seconded by Commissioner Carter to close the
public comment portion of the hearing. The motion passed unanimously. Commissioner Carter
moved to approve the ordinance as presented. Commissioner Stevens seconded and the motion
passed unanimously. The hearing adjourned. (Clerk's note: In error, I advertised that there is
a Fingerprint Based Criminal History Check fee that was being raised to $13.25 as well. I
misread the letter from the Sheriff's office and didn't realize this was tied to the CPL).
