County Code titled "Sheriff Fees for Official Services"
This code amendment proposes to increase the Fingerprint Based Criminal History Check fee to
$13.25 and their Concealed Pistol License fee to $50.00. Full text of the proposed regulation is
available upon request.

Ch. 9.07 titled "Dangerous Dog and Potentially Dangerous Dog"
This code amendment proposes to amend the fines related to the civil infraction. Full test of the
proposed regulation is available upon request.

Request from Franklin County Commissioner Brad Peck, who is requesting on behalf of the
Columbia Basin Development League, a one-time funding request in the amount of $3,750.00 to
cover 25% of the cost of professional survey work in support of the Columbia Basin
Development League's work to complete the second half of the Columbia Basin Project.

5. Resolution in the matter of proposing a sales and use tax for -costs to enhance and improve
criminal justice and law enforcement functions within Grant County. This is pursuant to RCW
82.14.450 which authorizes counties to submit a proposition to the voters to impose a 3/10%
sales and use tax to be used solely for the purpose of providing funds for costs associated with
criminal justice, fire protection, or both.

Training from July 31- August 3, 2019 in Los Angeles, CA.

7. Request to purchase a SpeedAlert 24 Radar Message Sign (Digital traffic reader board) in the
amount of $13,436.89 using Washington Traffic Safety Commission grant funds. Also to
purchase an ATS -5 trailer and associated hardware in the amount of $3,729.45 using Law and
Justice Funds. Both of these items were approved in their Capital Expenditure budget.

8. Request to purchase speakers and cabling to support Technology Services in improving the call-
up and announcing system on the Fairgrounds. They will be using previously allocated Capital
Expenditure funds that were used for LED reader boards and were later returned. The amount
is approximately $12,280.00.
