Re: Proposed rate changes for larger events and non -profits — revised for 2020
In an effort to increase revenues and reduce discounts I would like to propose the following for
events grossing more than $15,000, higher than the $10.,000 proposed for 2019.
Maintain the stall rate of $18 but eliminate all other discounts. The $10 cleaning fee will be
increased to $12 (minimum wage increase) and still be assessed based on the single highest day
of stall usage. Currently we are offering a 10% discount plus a 50 stall discount.
A camping rate of $30 per site (2020 proposed rate for water/power) with a 20% discount. In
comparison we offered a 2-for-1 rate for camping for events grossing more than $10,000 in
2019.
For non -profits we want to reduce the building rental discount from 25% to 20%.
We need to increase revenues to allow us to make more improvements. Our camping rates are
still the lowest in the County and these stall rates are comparative to other venues that are
smaller in size.
