One juvenile for Assault 11t and for Murder 2nd, a second and a third juvenile for Robbery in the 2nd degree, a fourth and fifth juvenile for a Probation Violation Warrant, and a seventh, eight and nine juveniles for Assault 4 DV and a tenth juvenile for Assault 3rd. Out of the 10 juveniles, 6 of them have bail imposed. Juvenile Intakes 2023 totals 14 12 11 3) Courts: May a Business hours a After hours 3 June i. OFFENDER/DIVERSION: All civil and criminal matters are still being held via WebEx, and we only have in-person court hearings for Dispositions and Trials. The Offender unit currently has 302 cases of which, 251 cases are Diversion and Low Risk. ii. TRUANCY: We currently have 230 active petitions, 162 total stays, 250 stays filed so far this school year, 128 stays lifted, 75 contempt of court filed this school year, and 55 extended stays this school year. We are officially done with Truancy dockets until next school year. DEPENDENCY: The dependency unit is also doing regular docket hearings, via WebEx. Our dependency unit currently has 180 active cases. out of the 180 active cases we have 138 assigned to staff, 30 cases assigned to Volunteers and 12 monitored cases that are active but because they have an attorney, there is no need for a GAL. 4) Chelan: We continue to have weekly meetings to troubleshoot any problems we have encountered and their ability to change and adapt to our needs continues to progress. 5) Administration: i. The Juvenile Department currently does not have any updates on contract signatures. ii. I will be leaving on vacation on June 27th, 2023 and will be returning on July 18th, 2023. 6) Needs of the Department The outside shelter is almost complete. We are only waiting for facilities and maintenance to install the bench.
