RESOLUTION INCREASING THE FAIR RESOLUTION No. 19- Y -CC
CHANGE FUND FOR THE GRANT
COUNTY FAIRGROUNDS AND
RESCINDING RESOLUTION
NO. 18 -076 -CC
WHEREAS, it has been called to the attention of the Board of County Commissioners
that the Fair Change Fund, Fund # 116, Department # 159, needs to be increased;
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 90 -53 -CC dated June 25, 1990 established this fund in the
amount of $100.00;
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 12 -038 -CC dated June 12, 2012 increased the fund to
$400.00;
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 14 -017 -CC dated March 25, 2018 increased the fund to
$1,000.00;
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 18 -076 -CC dated August 7, 2019 increased the fund to
$1,100.00;
WHEREAS, it was later determined that the $100.00 approved by Resolution No. 18-
076 -CC was not needed and never used, therefore Resolution No. 18 -076 -CC is being rescinded;
WHEREAS, the current balance of $1,000.00 has been demonstrated to be insufficient
and a request is being made to increase the fund by $400.00 to support a second Point of Sale
(POS) system at the Fairgrounds.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF GRANT COUNTY, STATE OF WASHINGTON,
increase Fund # 116, Department 415 9, Fair Change Fund, to the amount of $1,400.00, for the
cash registers at the Grant County Fairgrounds AND rescinding Resolution No. 18 -076 -CC.
