8:46 a.m. The Commissioners held an Open Record Public Hearing to consider a budget
extension request from the Veterans Services Coordinator in the amount of $75,000.00 from
their Assistance Reserve Fund (Fund #104, Department #146) due to a high volume of claims
being files and to fund apart -time Veteran Service Officer.
Jerry Gingrich, Deputy Clerk of the Board and Veteran Services Coordinator explained his
request.
A motion was made by Commissioner Stevens, seconded by Commissioner Carter to close the
public comment portion of the hearing. The motion passed unanimously. Commissioner Carter
moved to approve the budget extensions requests as presented. Commissioner Stevens seconded
and the motion passed unanimously. The hearing adjourned.
