RE: Request to Transfer Funds for Tourism
After conversations with accounting, it was determined the best course of action for the Tourism
Commission tracking and payment of invoices is to pay directly from Tourism. While usually this
would result in a monthly (or sometimes more) transfer of funds from LTAC to Tourism for
reimbursement. I am requesting aone-time transfer of $450,000.00 —which was recommended by
the LTAC and then ultimately approved by you, the BOCC as the total sum of a Tourism
Promotion Grant. Invoices would be then paid directly from the Tourism funds (as previously done)
and the remaining balance (if any) transferred back to the LTAC fund in December 2023.
Please approve the following transfer request:
Transfer From: 134.185.00.0000.597000003 LTAC
Transfer To: 114.156.00.0000.397000003 Tourism
Transfer Amount: $ 45000.00
Once again, any remaining funds will be transferred back to the LTAC fund during fiscal year
closeout in December 2023.
