Grants Administration Budget Extensions

The Commissioners held an Open Record Public Hearing to consider a budget extension request from
Janice Flynn, Administrative Services Coordinator, for the following funds:
Grants Administration Fund 190.001 to receive Washington State Department of Commerce
Grants in the amount of $4,611,876.00 for pass-through funding for the ERAP 2.0 (Contract 21-
4619C-108 $3,.905,.000) and CHG (Contract 22-46108-10 $706.,876.00) grants.
Katie Smith, Chief Accountant, gave a brief overview of the requests. These requests were not
anticipated in the 2023 budget preparation.
A motion was made by Commissioner Stone, seconded by Commissioner Jones, to close the public
comment portion of the hearing. The motion passed with 2 Commissioners in attendance. A motion
was made by Commissioner Stone to approve the budget extensions as presented. Commissioner Jones
seconded and the motion passed with 2 Commissioners in attendance.
