Re: Budget Extension Request for 3 new computers for new employees
Commissioners -
Development Services, by and through this memo, is seeking an immediate budget
extension to fund the purchase and deployment of three (3) new computer
workstations at $2,900.00 each or a total of $8700.00. One of these employees
begins work in November 2020 so I would ask that this transfer not be deferred to
the end of year adjustment that is often completed by the Accounting Department.
I believe the source funds for the extension would be the Beginning Fund Balance,
and the funds should be transferred to the Building Department's Small Tools >
$500.00 account (138.116.00.0000.524203564).
I'll be available at the Consent Agenda on November 24 to address any questions
you have; I appreciate your consideration in this matter.
