One juvenile for Assault 11t and for Murder 2nd, a second and a third juvenile for Robbery in the 2nd degree, a fourth and fifth juvenile for a Probation Violation Warrant. OFFENDER/DIVERSION: All civil and criminal matters are still being held via WebEx, and we only have in-person court hearings for Dispositions and Trials. The Offender unit currently has 302 cases, of which 251 cases are Diversion and Low Risk. ii. TRUANCY: As of May 11th, 2023, we currently have 204 active petitions, 153 total stays, 181 stays filed so far this school year, 128 stays lifted, 75 contempt of court filed this school year, and 50 extended stays this school year. iii. DEPENDENCY: The dependency unit is also doing regular docket hearings, via WebEx. Our dependency unit currently has 187 active cases. Out of the 187 active cases, we have 146 assigned to staff, 29 cases assigned to Volunteers and 12 monitored cases that are active but because they have an attorney, there is no need for a GAL. 4) Chelan: Since March 11t, our transition to Chelan has been okay. We continue to have weekly meetings to troubleshoot any problems we have encountered and their ability to change and adapt to our needs continues to progress. Administration: • Juvenile Department currently does not have any updates on contract signatures. 6) Needs of the Department Next week, the contractor that facilities and maintenance hired will start to pour the concrete pad and F&M staff will then be installing a covered, (3) sided enclosure with a steel bench which will be used by Law Enforcement &Chelan County Detention staff when meeting at the facility for after -hour Intakes.
