NWC Proposal Bid Original Bid request Description asked: Furnish and deliver WASTE COVER ADC in 50 Ib bags Requested 176,000 lbs FOB Separate deliveries Quarterly Delivery requested Semi -Annual or Annual Delivery quoted Additional information based upon site information: • Permitted size of working face is 100' x 50' = 5000 sq ft / day o Assumes Landfill covers 6 days per week and 52 weeks a year= 312 days • Tonnage per day: 300 tons • Landfill did initially fill a Kincaid 1200 gallon machine with 500 gallons of water (1/2 tank) and 6 bags of Posishell basic mix with fiber. NWC proposes that a Y tank batch is sufficient to cover the working face, and that be the cost comparison between products on a per day basis for 5000 square foot working face New Waste Concepts Inc Proposes: Unit price total cost . 2 PROGUARD SB2 & CELLULOSE: 62,4401bs $ 0.601/Ib $ 9g540:89 537,524- 94 Freight: $ 0.201/Ib $ =102-sO 4 12r SSv. 4 4 Sales Tax (7.9%): $ 0 Total $ 5eAft5B t56,01(9-08 NWC recommends that to compare bids properly, the cost per Ib should be not be the comparative. The reason is that NWC is penalized for using less weight (1/1 of the weight of your current product) to cover your working face annually. A competitor could cost 1.9 times more annually, and still remain at a lower per pound cost. ABETTER MEASURE IS TO EVALUATE THE PRODUCTS ON THEIR BATCH COST PER DAY WHICH CAN EASILY BE PUSHED UP TO ANNUAL COST. THIS GIVES YOU A TRUE MEASURE OF YOUR COST OF USINGAN ADC'. PROGUARD S132 AND CELLULOSE (Mixed with 400 gallons of H2O orleachate) Cost Information per batch (without freight): 1/2 bag of ProGuard SB2 $65.00 1-4oz dye pack $ 5.50 3.5 bags - #50 bag of cellulose $52.50 Total Daily Batch cost: $122.00 Freight cost allocation: 200.25 lbs of cellulose & Chemical —Daily cost per Ib: $0.597 Total Bags of Cellulose: 1092 bags (about 28 pallets) Total Bags of chemical: 156 bags - 3 pallets This product will actually cover over 10,000 square feet so in the event you have a larger working face it would be able to provide complete cover for the day, or go over some of the areas from a previous day Replaces the top of page 4 of the proposal 1
