RESOLUTION No. CE 20-60
RESOLUTION IN THE MATTER OF THE APPOINTMENT OF TRUSTEE
OF THE NORTH CENTRAL REGIONAL LIBRARY DISTRICT
WHEREAS, Ms. Deborah Moore has served as a Douglas County representative on the North Central
Regional Library District Board of Trustees since October 2019; and
WHEREAS, Ms. Moore has submitted a letter for her resignation effective June 9th, 2020; and
WHEREAS, Nancy Spurgeon, a resident of Douglas County, has submitted her interest to represent
Douglas County on the Board of Trustees of the North Central Regional Library by completing the term
of Ms. Moore; and
WHEREAS, the County Commissioners, have expressed confidence in the ability and qualifications of Ms.
Spurgeon to represent Douglas County on the Board of Trustees of the North Central Regional Library
District.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Douglas County Board of Commissioners appoints Nancy
Spurgeon to complete the term of Deborah Moore to represent Douglas County on the Board of
Trustees of the North Central Regional Library comprised of Grant, Chelan, Douglas, Ferry and Okanogan
Counties said term expires December 31, 2021.
