Re: Request for Approval, Mery 13 Filters Purchase
September 10, 2020
In response to the COVID 19 Pandemic it has been recommended to have MERV 13 filters
installed in the HVAC systems. We have a cost from Paramount Supply to procure Mery 13
filters to replace the current filters which are Mery 8. The cost of the air filters is normally spread
out over the year but seeing this needed to be done as soon as possible, we are looking to order
all the filters for the HVAC units at once,
Therefore, I am recommending to the Board and asking for your approval to award the purchase
of the MERV 13 filters to Paramount Supply for the amount $7879.59, Mery 13 filters cost 2.25
times more than Mery 8. This cost covers 228 filters and shipping.
