am requesting to move forward with the purchase of 23', T -Top "Life Proof Boat",
Hull #097. This equipment was already approved for a capital purchase, the funds
will come out of Law & Justice account.
The total cost of the vessel is $158,456.94 including tax. This leaves $17,000.00
owed on the vessel. GCSO initial plan was to trade our current vessel in and use
those funds to pay for the deficit. However, because the current vessel was
purchased using Washington State Parks recreation funds, the vessel must be
offered to another enforcement agency free of charge.
I intend on using Sheriff Surplus account, 140-000-000, to make up the $17,000.00
deficit.
