FOR THE SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT FUND
DISPOSAL FEE RATE INCREASE PUBLIC
HEARING
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners desires to conduct a public hearing on
its intention to adjust rates at Grant County operated disposal facilities to meet both current
and future needs; and

WHEREAS, Resolution No. 20-k7�--CC set the public hearing date of September
2020
and now needs to be rescinded and the hearing date must be rescheduled; and
WHEREAS, it is the intention of Grant County Public Works to adjust the rates at Grant
County operated disposal facilities on January 1, 2021; and
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 18 -123 -CC adopted December 18, 2018 was the previous
adoption of the Fee Schedule and has been deemed inadequate to fund the administrative,
maintenance, and operational costs; and
WHEREAS, the following fee schedules showing the increased fees will be considered:
see ATTACHMENTS A & B.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that a public hearing be held at 1:30 P.M. on
September 29, 2020. Grant County is providing access to this scheduled hearing for the public
via Webex only, because no members ofthe public may be present in the hearing room. To
