The process for the Gold Gate sign has been somewhat long. You approved the purchase and
installation of the sign but the cost is projected slightly over budget. The cost for the two new
Gold Gate signs was $1,566 with a budget of $5,000. This left $3434 for installation. We have
received all the permit approvals (3) and would request authorization to spend the additional
$3434 plus $2159.94 from the Blue Gate sign capital budget to finish the installation. The Blue
Gate sign capital line item has $8,237.19 left.
First, I request authorization to move $2159.94 from 126.168.00.91116.594736400 (Blue Gate
sign) to 126.168.00.9116.594736214 (Gold Gate sign).
Then 1 request authorization to pay for the installation cost of $5,593.94.
These are approved 2020 Capital funds from REST.
