RESOLUTION NOTICE OF HEARING for RESOLUTION No. 20- 00 -CC
VACATING a portion of surplus rights-of-way
along the South Frontage Road turnback in
Section 6 T18N R24EWM
WHEREAS, Grant County, Washington, has received a petition to vacate portions of certain surplus
rights-of-way described as follows:
Legal description: Grant County Rights-of-way, Known as South Frontage Road surplus
roadlog 18570 BMP 0.421 to EMP 0.48, and as shown adjacent to Farm Unit 34 and as shown on
the State Highway Turnback for I-90 MP 148.90 ALL in Section 6 T18N R24EWM, all in Grant
County, and as shown on attached exhibit A, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has determined that consideration should be given
to vacating portions of certain County surplus rights-of-way and directs the County Road Engineer to prepare a
report on the vacation and abandonment, and
WHEREAS, this resolution will be filed with remittance of a cashier's check for Fair Market Value
determined to be $4, 140.00 by the Assessor's Office. Said vacation will not be final until recorded.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED THAT the Grant County Board of
Commissioners set a Public Hearing on the report and other related matters to be held in the Hearing Room of
the Board of County Commissioners of Grant County, Washington, located in the County Courthouse,
Ephrata, Washington at 1:45 PM, on Tuesday, the 1st Day of September, 2020.
