RE: Human Resource Manager—Public Works Department
Honorable Board of County Commissioners:
Grant County Public Works Department is requesting approval to hire a Human Resource Manager.
Public Works will develop the job description, pay scale, advertise and hire for the position. Some
examples of duties to be included for the Public Works Human Resource Manager are: to hire
employees, complete investigations, trainings, internal processes updates, policy development/changes,
employee reviews, create/update job descriptions, handle PAR queries and adjustments, disciplinary
processes, including other duty assignments. Funds have already been budgeted for this position.
Therefore, Public Works recommends the approval of this requested position and memo.
