Re: Recommendation to contract with the City of George for Coronavirus Relief
Funds (CRF) through CARES Act Grant
The City of George submitted a budget proposal in the amount of $10,000.00 for
utilization of the Coronavirus Relief Funds (CRF) through CARES Act Grant.
A committee of Grant County officials met to discuss the allocation of funds and
proposed $10,000.00 towards taxing districts. There is currently sufficient funding in this
budgeted amount to cover the requested amount.
We recommend to contract with City of George for grant funding through the
Coronavirus Relief Fund (CRF) Cares Act Grant for COVID-19 related expenses from
March 1 st, 2020 through October 31 st, 2020 not to exceed $10,000 dollars.
