Re: Recommendation to contract with the Grant County Fire District #3 for
Coronavirus Relief Funds (CRF) through CARES Act Grant
The Grant County Fire District #3 submitted a budget proposal in the amount of
$10,000.00 for utilization of the Coronavirus Relief Funds (CRF) through CARES Act
Grant.
A committee of Grant County officials met to discuss the allocation of funds and
proposed $10,000.00 towards taxing districts. There is currently sufficient funding in this
budgeted amount to cover the requested amount.
We recommend to contract with Fire District #3 for grant funding through the
Coronavirus Relief Fund (CRF) Cares Act Grant for COVID-19 related expenses from
March 1 st, 2020 through October 31 st, 2020 not to exceed $10,000 dollars.
