The Board of Commissioners for Grant County, Washington fully supports the efforts of the
Housing Authority of Grant County (HAGC) to apply to participate in the Housing Assistance
Unit's new Coordinated Entry (CE) Diversion Pilot Program. We firmly believe this pilot project
is a good fit for HAGC as they are the sole Coordinated Entry Governing entity and this project
can fulfill a gap in services for those who are experiencing a housing crisis, but are not
considered unsheltered.
We recognize that HAGC has successfully operated homeless assistance programs for 10
years. Over these 10 years, they have established and maintained partnerships with community
agencies with like-minded visions for our community members who are experiencing
homelessness.
Grant County fully supports the efforts of the Housing Authority of Grant County to apply for
Housing Assistance Unit's new Coordinated Entry (CE) Diversion Pilot Program.
