RESOLUTION No. 20- U -CC
WHEREAS, New Hope Fund #128, Department #170 does not have an adequate level of
budget appropriation and needs a budget extension in the amount of $15,000.00 to receive a
foundation grant from Innovia Foundation to provide assistance in community outreach and the
2020 Census count.
WHEREAS, this additional budget expenditure was not anticipated when preparing the
2020 budget; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with RCW 36.40.140 a public hearing, must be held to
authorize additional budget appropriations.
WHEREAS, on the 9th day of June, 2020 at 8:45 a.m., a public hearing was held in the
Grant County Commissioners' Hearing Room.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF GRANT COUNTY, STATE OF WASHINGTON, that a
budget appropriation in the total amount of $15,000.00 to be allocated to the 2020 budget
according to the following schedule of categories and items:
