The Finance Committee met today, we reviewed a request for Grant County Fire
District 10. They are requesting to be approved for a bridge loan not to exceed 1.1
million dollars to facilitate the purchase of a capital project. This loan would be paid
in full in October 2020.
Our recommendation is to approve this request.

Grant County Fire District No. 10 is requesting the approval of registered warrant(s), not to exceed 1.1
Million Dollars to facilitate the purchase of a capital project through an interlocal agreement with the Port
of Royal Slope, The purchase is expected to be completed by July 2020.
Grant County Fire District 10 has been pre -approved for the Washington State Treasures LOCAL
program for funding of the purchase. The next available bond sale is October 2020. After that date of the
bond sale, the funds will be reimbursed for the registered warrant(s).

On May 21, 2020 the Grant County Commissioners received a recommendation from the
Finance Committee to approve Fire District No. 10 request for approval of registered warrant(s)
not to exceed 1.1 million dollars to facilitate the purchase of a capital project through and
interlocal agreement with the Port of Royal Slop.
This recommendation was placed the Board's May 26, 2020 Consent Agenda for consideration.
After discussion, the Board voted to approve your request (see attached). Please work with
Treasurer Darryl Pheasant on this process.
