HomeMy WebLinkAboutAgreements/Contracts - Sheriff & JailMay 12, 2020 Board of County Commissioners: Grant County Office of The Board of County Commissioners P O Box 37 Ephrata WA 98823 (509)754-2011 An RFP was sent out in March requesting proposals for Sheriff's Vehicles Upfitting and Maintenance stating that the County would select one vendor as a primary and a second vendor as the back-up for overflow purposes. Three proposals were submitted from the following vendors, meeting all criteria specified. 1. Darrell Doolittle 2. FCI Custom Police Vehicles 3. Truk Wurx LLC A panel of three Grant County personnel (Ken Jones, Dean Hallatt and myself) evaluated each proposal based upon the following criteria and attached is the report for the evaluations. • Amount of Proposal • Quality of Experience, qualifications, and references • Demonstrated capability to meet all requirements of the scope of work • Ability to provide all supplies and services to upfit, maintain and teardown vehicles The average evaluations were tabulated as follows: The Sheriff's Office is requesting approval to award the main contract for Sheriff's Vehicles Upfitting and Maintenance to Darrell Doolittle and a secondary contract for backup services to FCI Custom Police Vehicles.
