Per the approved 2020 Capital budget for misting fans of $10,8001 would like to request
authorization to purchase (2) cooling units for barns.
Several options were investigated with the best being from Air Marketing group, from our
vendor roster. The units are portable so they can be used for events other than Fair. Originally
we had planned to purchase misting fans but then realized they would only be used once -a -
year for Fair when they could be used as rental units for other events.
One important element is that the unit not just spray water, covering animals and participants.
