Central Services reached out to three local vendors to receive pricing on a used scissor lift for the
fairgrounds. The purchase of this lift is approved in this year's budget under the 309 Bond fund
309.000.00.0000.594736400.
We asked for a specific model that will be utilized at the fairgrounds. A Genie brand GS 1930
We received quotes from 3 companies,
National Lift $9,500.00 with 103 hours
Pro Rentals $8,097.56 with unknown number of hours
United Rentals $5,522.32 with 76 hours
With a very low number of hours I would say we are getting a great deal from United Rentals and would
recommend this purchase.
This lift will help a great deal with much of the work we have ongoing at the fairgrounds and request the
Boards approval for this purchase.
