1:50 p.m. This public hearing was not recorded. The Grant County Commissioners held an
Open Record Public Hearing to consider an ordinance amending Ch. 11.04 of the Grant County
Code titled "Maximum Speed Limits".
Sam Dart, Interim Public Works Director stated that the amendment is to a portion of Road 7 -NE
from Stratford Rd to I -NE (Moses Lake city limits) and lower this to 35mph; and Stratford Rd
from Harris Rd to 325 N. of Tyndal Rd and lower this to 45mph.
A motion was made by Commissioner Stevens, seconded by Commissioner Taylor to close the
public comment portion of the hearing. The motion passed unanimously. Commissioner Taylor
moved to approve the ordinance as presented. Commissioner Stevens seconded and the motion
passed unanimously. The hearing adjourned.
