On March 17th, Central Services held a bid opening for a new shavings cage located at the
fairgrounds.
We received a single bid for the project for $79,738.10 with a separate cost of $21,900 for a
structural concrete slab. This totals $101,638.10
Our budget for this project was $55,000. As we only received a single bid. Central Services
recommends rejecting this bid due to its cost being well above our budget limitation.
We will revisit our needs and re -bid this project in the near future.
