On March 23rd, Central Services held a bid opening for a the repair of the Agriculture buildings
envelope located at the fairgrounds.
We received 4 bids for the project
1. JRCC
$41,249.33
2. Stan's Construction
$89,981.00
3. Bishop Contracting
$94,830.00
4. K5 Contracting
$189,829.00
Our budget for this project was $100,000. (309.000.00.0000.594736210) The remaining money
will be put towards the new HVAC to condition the building.
JRCC is deemed non-responsive as they did not include a bid bond and due to a probable
mistake in their bid costs, would likely have pulled their bid.
Stan's Construction is the responsive low bidder and I recommend providing a contract for this
work to begin as soon as possible.
